The two ceramic copitas alone make this worth it—they feel weighty and nice in the hand, and the box is sturdy enough to give as a gift. The Ensamble itself is smooth with that earthy Madrecuishe character coming through nicely.
The batch AN8 pours beautifully and the Madrecuishe gives it a nice earthy kick that the Espadin rounds out well. The little ceramic cups fit perfectly in the box, making this an easy gift for a friend who’s into mezcal.
The ceramic copitas are heavier than they look, which gives them a nice feel in the hand, and the 50cl bottle is perfect for sharing a round with a friend. The madrecuishe adds a savory edge to the espadin that I didn't expect from an ensamble this smooth.
